In April 2025, SMK Celebrated its 100th Anniversary.
We sincerely thank all our stakeholders, including our customers, business partners, and shareholders, for their unwavering support, which has made it possible for us to reach this milestone.
Guided by our founding spirit of "Good Parts Create Good Final Products," SMK has developed cutting-edge technologies based on our Manufacturing Capabilities and has continuously provided attractive products and services to customers worldwide.
Starting with the production of radio components and radios at the time of our founding, our product lineup has evolved in line with the changes in our customers' final products. Over the years, we have established core technologies in connection technology, wireless technology, and input technology. More recently, we have expanded into new product and service offerings, including solutions driven by software, such as sensing technology, high-frequency technology, and algorithm technology.
As we celebrate our 100th anniversary and look forward to the next 100 years, we will further strengthen our Manufacturing Capabilities and continue to provide solutions to address the challenges of our customers and society.

In 1985, marking our 60th anniversary, we introduced a corporate identity (CI) system to embark on a new phase of growth. We changed our company name from Showa Musen Kogyo to SMK Corporation and adopted a new corporate brand logo.
The intersection at the center of the letter “M” symbolizes “infinity and interchange,” reflecting the spirit of our corporate philosophy: the pursuit of infinite possibilities, advancement through technological exchange, and the creation of a workplace founded on a spirit of cooperation.
The eight surrounding dots correspond to the eight essential keywords in our Action Guidelines: pride, confidence, zeal, sincerity, courage, trust, respect, and a global perspective.
The corporate colors, SMK Blue and SMK Red, are used in the logo, with SMK Blue representing “a high-technology company” and SMK Red symbolizing “a high-spirited, proud company.”

As we celebrate our 100th anniversary, the SMK website is undergoing a complete renewal. With a fresh design and new features, we aim to provide a more user-friendly and valuable experience for our business partners and stakeholders.
